Yawn. Is #Winter over yet? #PoemOfTheDay. #RobertFrost | #TheRoadNotTaken Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.

Things I would say #ToMyYoungerSelf: Stay focused, always. The path may not always be clear, but just know that the work you do today lays the foundation for what tomorrow. This was a rather special night, mostly for #FatMike, #FatWreckChords and #NOFX, but also for me. From start to finish I had a blast. Even though the road of life has its uncertainties, I am certain that the skills I've aquired, the lessons I've learned and the people I've met along the way have been what has made the journey truly magical. #OiToTheWorld #25anniversary (but really the 24th). #Punk

Wildly in Love, and had to catch my breath in this #jurassicpark before setting sail. #LoveRun Photo #2: Yar! Dinos be one thing, but there be #ewok here, keep your eyes peeled and #MaytheForceBeWithYou. Being here reminds of just how important it is to preserve our natural resources. And how amazingly resilient nature is. It will continue with or without humanity. If humans cannot live harmoniously with nature, then nature will live harmoniously without humans.

Many moons ago I embarked on a journey of discovery. There are plenty of missing gaps and so many questions left unanswered. This is a pic of my great-tio, as the eldest child of my departed great-grandmother Soledad Guerra Quezada, he helped to fill in some of the gaps in my #FamilyHistory. It has been many moons since this photo was taken, but as I prepare for the coming week I am keeping him in mind. He survived Vietnam, served in the #USMC, and shared some great pearls of wisdom with me as we spoke about the past. Over the years I've interviewed many people, from celebs to politicians, but family is a whole other beast. I was first inspirered to record family narratives after I wrote an essay on #Chicano #Literature. There is still much to finish, but gonna stay focused.... #MilesToGoBeforeISleep.

#Throwback! Not only did I get to speak with these #veteran #FineArt ists exhibiting at the #WilliamTurnerGallery, but my article was published by the gallery. I may not be able to paint my way out of a paper bag, but I can sure write my way into a gallery. Since writing this article, I've covered #Bergamot's #Summer Celebration as well as conducted multiple interviews with other #musicians, #composers, #gallerycurator s, veteran #skater s and more.
